It's probably obvious but I was thinking tonight; first you ask "what do I want to say?" and then you filter that through "what do I want others to hear me say and in particular those who disagree with me?"
Or maybe more importantly "... those who do not know me."
Gee, that sounds so profound.
It's hard to not think those who disagree with us don't know us and that seems to be the root of it all.
