april has been cool
I remember only a few times in my life where it was still cool in April, and even 2 Easter's where I wore a coat, and one with snow freezing my colored eggs. Yesterday was cool here in jax, and today is too. For the land, where the sun never dies this is unusal. I've caught a cold. And for once I really don't mind having one. In fact I'd like it to stay awhile...
I haven't done this in ages so here-
1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
I'm too embarassed to say.
2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
I have too many favorites. a dozen for every mood that changes by the second.
3. What's your favorite song?
I'd usually cop out and go along with the too many to name reply. But right now I'm really shinin on "Nyja Lagid" { Sigur Ros }
4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
The Harp, or electric guitar.
5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
It's so obvious Nina Simone;Jimi Hendrix;Jim Morrison; Janis; John; Portishead; & Tricky... why? they all have deeply wounded me somehow with music. smiles&tears. man we'd have a party in my garage.

p.s. there was a movie on this morning on amc called marjorie morningstar, with a young natalie wood. that somehow stuck a pearl enameled straight pin into me. i should've watched more than the 15 minutes i did. but robert de niro has a way of distracting a lady, or at least one like me.
