have you heard the Spandau Ballet - "I know this much is true" r&b song that is out now by Lloyd? I wonder if that was a choice of inspiration or desperation. . . like every last song from the 80's has been already sampled so they had a choice between say Rick Astley, Spandau Ballet, and Ho Jo. YES! the next day after posting that i heard the "she's like the wind" one and laughed my ass off.
another one, not 80's related, but definitely worth a laugh is the Paula Deanda one:
