(no subject)
I've never liked Hip Hop or R&B. Okay, they're are a few exceptions or things I like which I don't know are R&B or hip hop, but here when I hear that music I'm like ah the music of my brethern. I mean I love that no one knows what the hell is goin on in these songs. No one knows what these humps the Black Eyed Peas are talking about are or what Eminem is saying at all (he talks so fast). Its quite amusing. I have little dance parties alone in my room.
I tried to do Karioke yestaurday with my friend. It was a random food court that had a large TV and a microphone. Kinda sounds like my kind of Karaoke place huh? Well my friend was actually really good (she could actually sing) and I didn't really feel up to my loud shouting. We all know its not really singing. She was surprised I couldn't sing and didn't know any of these Mariah Carey songs. Plus if I did know them I'd just kinda shout them. I had to explain that for me karioke was different without mentioning the copious amounts of alcohol sometimes (although not always) involved. Ah how I miss the days of yore and their good times.
