Hilarious Hawk

The reason for this particular post is that I found a hilarious new website,

It's a column written every 2 weeks by some guy named Gary Brecher, whose nickname is War Nerd. Read http://www.exile.ru/141/war_nerd.html this one, it's a Freudian wet dream - and he knows it! He revels in all he says, and it's what makes him such a good writer of history. As far as I can tell (which isn't much), he knows his shit.
Unabashed love of something so horrible as war is refreshing to me, who's read untold hundreds of pages on the Iraqi War, etc. Good to have some geostrategic perspective, aside from all the amazing geopolitical/economic stuff. And it's nice to see such straightforward criticism of everyone - not to mention a military buff who hates Republicans and respects the French.
Watched Lost in Translation. Awesome - I was scared of a 'bad' kind of 'mature', but got an unexpectedly great mature instead. Can't wait to watch Pirates of the Carribbean next.
In music, Cee Lo's CD is magnificent. Living Again is all those synonyms of 'uplifting'. It's really long, and there are a lot of 'introspective' songs, 1 of which has amazing lyrics - I Am Selling Soul. Brilliant. Best I could expect.
