1. Primo Island Lager
Hawaiian beer, made with 95% malt and 5% sugar cane, brewed from 1897. 6.2% alcohol. Made a big comeback in 2007. It's an airy beer, refreshing and very very easy to drink. Aftertaste is a bit lacking, but tolerable. A lot better than the other Hawaiian beers I have tried, like Longboard. Wish it was a bit cheaper. Stubby bottle is great for smaller fridge shelves.
2. New Belgium Trippel
Ale brewed with coriander. Colorado. Second brewing in the bottle. 7.8% alcohol. Very sharp aftertaste. Not terrible, but I will not repurchase, something is just yucky. Maybe the coriander. If you try it, go with heavy, spicy food.
3. Leinenkugel Honey Weiss
Wisconsin, made with honey, since 1867. Leine's is the third largest craft beer company, after Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada. 4.8% alcohol. Soooooo smooth and light, with a delicious and unique aftertaste. Weirdly enough, the aftertaste is just a little bit like cheddar cheese, but in a good way. Absolutely ZERO hops taste! :) This is going to go in my top 3 beers list, I think.
