Friends
I have a lot of really great friends that do a lot of really great things for me. I thought I would make a list of all of the nice things that they do, no matter how trivial they may seem to somebody else:
1. send me cards from afar
2. drive 5 hours to visit me
3. spend 2 hours lost in a place that they're really afraid of in an attempt to visit me
4. leave me messages
5. call when they heard something was wrong
6. call when they just felt like chatting even though they're busy studying endlessly
7. help me with homework
8. use they're Christmas presents to fly to visit me
9. go grocery shopping with me
10. go out of their way so I don't have to walk alone
11. not laughing at me when I ask ridiculous and annoying questions
12. not being patronizing when I say something stupid
13. loaning me a book to make copies of so I don't have to buy it
14. not rubbing in that they are not nearly as poor as I currently am
There are many more, but I need to get ready for work, so the list must end.
