I'll admit, I am not a fan of Amy Tan. She has fairly interesting plots, okay characters, and great dialogs. The Hundred Secret Senses is smooth and light reading, but the chapters are formulaic and in the end, disappointing. It's decent stuff and mildly interesting. There is not much more to say.
