Of all the minds, in all the world, they had to walk back into mine.
Funny how some thing make you think of others. I was browsing screamingshiva's LJ this evening and his post made me think back to things I've forgotten. I'm not one to keep momento's or keepsakes of any kind. I just occasionally stop and think of times had and people loved (and loathed for that matter).
Since I'm a fairly new transplant here in Arizona I often think back to Iowa. I remember great times and not so great times. I do this often because the thoughts are so fresh. But thinking back this evening made me think back to the other times I've had to think back. (confused?) Let me rephrase. There was a time when I was new to Iowa and thought back to Tennessee. And before Tennessee was Illinois, and before Illinios was Indiana, and so on. I've spent the evening remembering the people I have long forgotten about. I remember people I could have sworn I'd never forget. So to those people that I have been honored to know in my life that have more than likely forgotten about me, I'm sorry.
This was a very somber post. Maybe my next one will be a bit livelier. Maybe not. Who knows.
