Yes! I know!
Pretty much from the moment that Holmes dropped everything to go to dinner [after spending hours locked away conducting his experiments] just for Watson, I knew that Holmes only cared for Watson.
And then there was the blatant attempts to break them up. The palm reading woman, who was so paid off by Holmes to scare Watson into dumping Mary [fat and full of warts!]? Just about killed me with laughter.
And yes, the whole 'my dog/our dog' conversation? So the sort of thing you hear from married couples. *snickers*
It was freaking awesome. It made me want to see more. And that's after two hours of the movie.
Also, to actually answer your question and not just squee. So far the community that is generating the most fics is the kink meme at: http://sherlockkink.livejournal.com

Oh thank god!! I was all worried, like, "Is the movie TOO gay? Is everyone not interested in ficcing it because it's JUST TOO GAY and there's no tension anymore?"
Haha, obviously the movie is set up for a full franchise, so I am very, very happy about that. I just hope it doesn't go downhill after this one, because this was--so perfect. *sheds a tear*
The palm reading woman made me laugh so hard! And I loved Holmes visiting Watson in disguise as the doctor. !!! Man, this movie. I can't tell if my slash goggles are set on extra-sensitive or what, but Downey Jr's comments really make me feel like I don't even need the goggles at all.

Haha, true, it's only been a day since the movie came out. I hope Avatar doesn't overshadow it too much, but they did so much marketing for SH it must be getting good attention. (I must've seen Jude Law's face twenty separate times in three days just driving around San Francisco, and it made me glow all warm and happy every single time.)
The last time I was this excited about a movie was PotC, and the sequels did not deliver, IMO. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed too, and in the meantime there's a ton of material in the movie to work with (and tons of material in the original stories!).

Aw shit, sorry! I just left, actually--drove back down to LA. I will be making a quick layover in SF tomorrow morning, but I don't know if I can leave the airport for that.

They were awfully blatant about the sequel. I hope it as good. *crosses fingers*
I too read about RDJ's comment after the movie and also pouted about the lack of wresting and bed sharing. Heh. As if gayness wasn't blatant enough.
