TOP 10 WESTERN GUYS

Sep 25, 2008 18:36

this goes in reverse order of their overall ~importance~ to me. hehe.
and this generally has nothing to do with hotness, omg.
also i got lazy with capitalization; for some reason it's easier for me to fangirl when i don't capitalize? wtf.

honorable mentions

*chace crawford: i said before that i would watch gossip girl for this pretty boy, and...well, sorry, his character is too boring to do that. he's still a pretty boy though, don't get me wrong.

*michael cera: guy plays himself in movies, same character every damn time, but he's cute. and canadian! so that's always a plus. (and honestly, he's more like the type of boy i would date.)

*shia labeouf: i had a huge crush on him even in even stevens, for serious. he is not as attractive when he slicks his hair back. and i'd rather him not have facial hair, so that's why he's not in my top ten. rofl. i don't really have anything else to say here.

*chris rankin: percy! yes plz. i'd rather have percy with curly hair like his natural hair though, tbh. uhh...and for the other part of this rant see the stuff i said about shaun white's hair below, lol

top ten

10. shaun white → snowboarder, skateboarder, and olympic gold medalist.
he's so cool. really, he is. guys with insane talent make me SWOON. he's attractive in the same way that people think michael phelps is attractive, but his face is not as goofy as phelps'. lol. i love his curly red hair though, let me just say that. he always lets it grow out way too long and i hate that, but i still love his hair, wtf? i mean, curly is a killer for me, and ginger hair too, but put them together and it's double the power. he's one of the people that gets me all excited for the 2010 winter olympics. :)

09. johnny weir → figure-skater. has medaled but not at the olympics.
he's not on here because i think he's uberly hot. i really respect him, i dunno. i just think it's awesome how flamboyant he is while refusing to admit his sexual orientation because it doesn't matter in terms of the sport. it really doesn't! i love how blunt and bitchy he is, because bitchiness done right always makes me uber happy, as you guys know. >8) i desperately want him to medal at the 2010 winter olympics because he hasn't gotten gold recently. ;__; and he has a LOT of haters. he'll show them in 2010, just wait.

08. james mcavoy → scottish actor; famous role: mr. tumnus (chronicles of narnia).
this is primarily alice's fault, but whatever. he caught my eye in penelope. and then i rented last king of scotland and he gets naked in there...heh (but it was a really good movie, maybe a little too serious though). and i watched wanted all for him. he's a damn good actor, though, and his american accents don't suck as much as other attempts. he can be so freaking hot and then so freaking ugly, it really depends. short story: i have a thing for scots and you'd better believe it.

07. bret mckenzie → 1/2 of the comedy duo flight of the conchords.
although i personally find jemaine the more hilarious of the two, omg bret is a darling. actually jemaine is hotter too, but...again, whatever. my fondness lies with bret. he has what i like for sure: dark curly hair, with an accent to boot. and goddamn, kiwi accents are gorgeous. i think the main reason i was drawn to him is because he looks a lot like david krumholtz...who is actually younger. and also: HE WAS FIGWIT IN LOTR!!!!

06. henry ian cusick → scottish actor; famous role: desmond hume (lost).
scot alert. of all the english language accents in the world, my favorites are scottish, the usual british, and kiwi, in that order. (though i like cockney too...rofl.) i also think he's hot for a 41-year-old. the first moment desmond appeared i was swooning. i tried to keep the older guys off this list but...frankly, i liked them as much as the guys closer to my age. whatever.

05. robert sean leonard → american actor; famous role: james wilson (house m.d.).
WILSON ♥ i think he's attractive. guy's got 21 years on me, but i still find him attractive. go me. i loved the banter between house and wilson, and RSL's overly innocent and calm expressions contrasted with hugh's craziness was just perfect. and he makes ties sexy, okay? YEAH OLDER MEN!!! moving on.

04. ben barnes → english actor; famous role: prince caspian (chronicles of narnia).
oh my god i have a lot of british men on my top ten, because they are generally better than american men. hee. ben barnes is freaking gorgeous and you simply can't deny it. his spanish accent in narnia sucked balls, but his regular accent is omgsoawesome. when i sleep at night his picture looms over me. that's also alice's fault, but then again i did put it there, rofl. BUT. SO PRETTY. minus the butt chin. :| and actually...he and william beckett from the academy is look a lot alike, don't they? i used to love beckett loads, so of course binbons is up there for me ♥

03. robert pattinson → english actor;
famous role(s): cedric diggory (harry potter), edward cullen (twilight).
rpattz is hot and now, i think it's nifty how he hates being edward. poor guy. heartthrob to millions of girls who totally don't get that edward is as creepy as he's supposed to be beautiful...but anyway. he was totally miscast as cedric, not because of the physical aspect, but the whole goody-good aspect. guy's obviously a druggie/stoner/whatever and the quintessential bad boy. still? he's hot. and british. rawr.

02. david krumholtz → american actor; famous role: charlie eppes (numb3rs).
dark curly hair. poster jewboy for sure. numb3rs made me love this man and i was seriously in love with him half the time i watched it, when i was supposed to be paying attention to him talking smart, rofl. i got all happy watching santa clause BECAUSE HE WAS IN IT. he's definitely not the hottest piece of ass on this list, no way, but his hair and being a jewboy just SEALS THE DEAL for me. omg if i get married to a jewboy that will be SO typical of me. seriously.

01. dominic monaghan → english actor;
famous role(s): meriadoc "merry" brandybuck (lord of the rings), charlie pace (lost)
i really loved the bond between the Lord of the Rings actors, especially the hobbit actors, and i needed something to distract myself from the general disaster that was orlando bloom. so somehow i ended up loving dom so, so much. my love got dormant, and then he got cast in lost. that was a huge obsession for me too, wow. he doesn't really fit what i tend to like in guys, which is strange considering he's my number one, but he is british. huh. whatever, LOTR-love goes a long way. :)
