i have added a links section to my journal, mostly to act as an easy-access version of my favorites, right here on my lj, but also to publicize some stuff that i dig. some of the stuff is general, but others are obscure bands, companies, or people who need and deserve exposure.

I followed that link up there to your mySpace account and read through some of your interests. I just want to say that the number of things we have in common is just frightening. I lament... lament, I say, that you and I don't live in the same area. We could have so much fun.

i might have an opportunity to spend a month or so in memphis for a theatre show in spring '06, but even that's a bit of a distance from KY. lamentations abound!

I've been to Memphis before. It was a long haul - about a 6 or 7 hour drive. Beale St was fun. I also enjoyed going to Sun Records if only for the fact that I can say that I stood where The Edge stood during the recording of "Angel of Harlem". I was the only tourist there quoting lines from the Rattle and Hum movie, I tell you.

Oh yeah, one of the things that I noticed on your mySpace description was that you like both ChronoTrigger and CronoCross (as do I). ChronoCross doesn't get much love and I'm not sure why. Any game that has a 15 minute glam rock opera worked into the storyline has my vote. Plus, I thought Karsh was hot in his Elvis jumpsuit.

you go to sun records and u2 is what you think of? that makes you lovely. ;O)

CT and CC? lord, i can't do this over lj. i'd need at least a half-an-hour online chat session or a phone conversation to go over that whole debate. needless to say, the CT purists need to chill out and enjoy CC for the quality game that it is, whether or not it's a "worthy" sequel or not. kid could be my girlfriend any day, pirate dialect and all.
