so things have been terrific:
--just closed a sold-out run of sideways stories from wayside school with the friendliest, most fun cast i've been a part of in years.
--received word that someone wants to include one of my songs on an indie acoustic compilation.
--in a few weeks, i'll begin hosting an open mic night at double t's roadhouse.
so i need some input. for various reasons, the bar owner doesn't want to call it an "open mic night." but i need to call it something, in order to advertise. if you were me, what would you call it?
i've been considering "open jam w/vi tran" but i'm not entirely sold on that. a name that encourages singer-songwriters and instrumentalists would be nice too.
the evening will consist of the standard sign-up-and-play format with me hosting and occasionally playing in between sets.
any suggestions?
