If you follow Heartland on Twitter, you'll see that today was the first day on set for Victoria Pratt, who is joining the cast as Casey (You can follow her on Twitter too, right here). Victoria has been in many productions including as Shalimar Fox in the series “Mutant X.” What's she going to be doing as Casey on Heartland? I wish I knew! I guess we're going to have to wait and see, won’t we?

Victoria Pratt's impressive 2014 performances lead to 'Heartland' role

Victoria Pratt's reputation as an actress is growing within Canada and the United States as a result of her recent performances and entertainment insiders are predicting that she is on track to becoming an in-demand actress on both the small and big screen.
She started 2014 with the movie "The Virginian" in which she played a starring role alongside Trace Adkins. She then was recently seen in a starring role in the television movie "A Daughter's Nightmare" and shortly after this film aired on television was offered a role on the popular Canadian television series "Heartland" which she recently completed. In the view of some within the entertainment industry her being chosen for a guest role in "Heartland" shortly after the airing of "A Daughter's Nightmare" was no coincidence. Some within the television industry associate the fact that the producers of this show chose her to perform this role as an indication of her rising profile in the entertainment industry and some insiders believe that this is just the start for the talented actress.
She has not one, not two but three movies that are in the process of post-production, one movie that has been completed and another that was just announced to be filmed in 2014. By the end of 2014 she will have five films completed and realistically four of these films will be on the big screen and will allow both her fans and filmmakers the opportunity to see how her talent as an actress has developed. Some entertainment insiders consider the fact that Victoria Pratt is so popular with independent filmmakers as a testament to her acting ability, in particular her dramatic range. She made the smart decision to accept feature roles in smaller budget films and they have provided her some substantial 'meaty' roles and enabled her to develop her acting ability as a leading lady. Victoria Pratt is an actress whose reputation and profile is on the rise in the entertainment industry.
