Continuum star Victor Webster next to join our online chat series
May 1, 2013. 3:25 pm

Fans of the B.C.-filmed sci-fi TV series Continuum had a great time asking questions of star Erik Knudsen in our online chat Monday morning, and we’re doing it again next Monday at 10:30 a.m. with fellow Continuum actor Victor Webster.
.....
Continuum airs the third episode of its second season Sunday on Canada’s Showcase network, and in some 50 other countries around the world. Episodes cut between a turbulent present-day Vancouver beset by gang violence, and a future where corporations have taken over from governments.

The show centres on future cop Kiera Cameron (actor Rachel Nichols) who in the first season was involuntarily dropped onto the streets of present-day Vancouver by a group of radicals who used time-travel to escape a death sentence in the year 2077. She partners with present-day Vancouver cop Carlos Fonnegra (Webster) who doesn’t know that she is from the future. The show mixes action with a theme of conflicted ideals - the future cop is an agent of an oppressive regime, while the radicals aren’t above using terror tactics in their present-day efforts to rewrite the future.

We’ll want to hear from Webster about filming some of that action - last Sunday’s episode had Webster’s character involved in a bare-knuckle fight with a turbo-charged soldier from the future (actor Roger Cross), in the back of a jostling, speeding van. Anyone who saw that scene will wonder whether the players came away with any bruises. To join the chat, check my blog Monday morning.
