Friends and family gather at Stratford's Festival Theatre to celebrate the life of acclaimed actor and director Bernard Hopkins

In his 24 seasons with the Stratford Festival, Bernard Hopkins had made that stage a second home. He had captivated audiences and fellow actors in an unforgettable series of roles while treading those boards. So on Sunday, Hopkins’ friends and family took to the same stage to pay tribute to the man, sharing stories, memories and songs with one final audience.
