Bowling
Went out bowling last night with Jamie and Beth. Nic's been busy lately with her research for the hospital, so I think she was glad to see the back of us for a couple of hours. Since there were only three of us, we had to convince Hansen to join in, although he seemed to think that the instant he started concentrating on hitting the pins, I'd be shot in the back. Needless to say, Jamie and Beth kicked our asses. I apparently have no hand-eye coordination at all.
I can't imagine what it must be like for celebrities to go out and try to have a normal life. Very few people ever ask me for my autograph, but a lot do want to berate me - not necessarily for anything specific, just the general state of the country. Usually I have to rely on Beth to rescue me. She's good at that.
Speaking of politics, we're having another vote on hate crime in the middle of the month. That is, a bill to specifically outlaw hate-motivated crimes against mutants. It might be worth watching on C-SPAN.
