( I hope my interpretation isn't too far off ... |D;; )

It was no secret that Colette wasn't the most graceful person. A girl who could even trip while flying was probably not the easiest person to reform, but alas, she had wanted to become a little more graceful. After all, making holes in the institute's walls wasn't quite the impression Colette had wanted to make when she came here.

Thank God for the internet. It didn't take Colette long to look up a few ways to bring up her grace, and she had immediately gotten to work on it, taking a few books with her out to the courtyard of the institute to practice.

She placed a book on her head and started trying to balance it. It took a few times while just standing to get it right, but she did manage to balance that book on her head fairly easily. Next step: Walking. Colette started walking carefully, trying to keep the book from falling off of her head ... and just as she was becoming frustrated that she couldn't seem to keep it there, she started to get the hang of it. At that point

Dude, my cousin and I used to make it a game of walking all the way around our grandmother's house with encyclopedias on our heads, on increasingly longer courses that eventually made us navigate pillows, stairs, doorways, and yappy dogs. /tangental nostalgia

Gumi sat in her chair, leaned back, arms crossed over her chest, and a smug smile on her face. The smug look was directed at a very pouty, blonde haired student who now sat on her couch, hands and feet now bound by what looked to be bright yellow caution tape.

"Okay, I get it. I snuck into your shop while you weren't here and I may have taken some of your food. It wasn't like it was going to last long enough for you to get to it, sheesh," Lily pouted, her features set in a glare at the girl who'd tied her up. Gumi merely shrugged and stayed right where was was, watching as Lily started trying to squirm out of her binds.

"You still snuck in."

"Isn't this overkill?"

"No. If I'd actually wrapped your entire body up in tape, then it'd be overkill."

Lily gave a deadpan, annoyed stare at her ... friend? Mentor? Frienemy? What was Gumi anymore?

"I hate you."

Gumi only smirked more. "No you don't."

"Damn it, I do."

Gumi laughed and stood, joining her on the couch.
