It's true. I've been gone a bit too long. There are lots of reasons: the book I'm writing, the changes in the workplace, my computer finally dying, other deaths. But somehow they are just reasons and not really explanations.
I can make promises to do better, but I won't.
Instead I will write here and now that I always think of this place. And I do think of it as a place. Like a favorite library or a great cafe, where my friends drop in and out and discuss what's on their minds. Sometimes with all the emotion of the moment and sometimes with grace and beauty and sometimes just... with all the humanity we have.
I miss it. Really, I do. Most of all I miss you guys. I will be writing soon, now that I have a new computer.
Just wanted you to know, I shall return.
