SO!
When I went and applied at Victoria's Secret, the whole reason I was at the mall that day was so that I could turn in an application at Barnes and Noble. Yet, Victoria Secret is the one who called me and interviewed me and hired me. Been working there for almost a month now. Got invited to stay on past Seasonal. Today, I get a phone call from Barnes and Noble. They want me to come in Monday for a group interview.
Man, I really want to work at Barnes and Noble. They'd also be paying me like $.50 more an hour than VS. So, I figure I'll go for the interview... see if they offer me a position for the hours I'm available for. (I'm working a Morning shift and a day shift at Ripley's, then in school all day Tuesday and Thursday this fall). If so, I may just turn in two weeks notice to Victoria's Secret and say "I've got a better offer." What's the worse that could happen? I go to the interview and they don't offer me a job.
So yeah... here's hoping. I could really use the extra money. AND I can't wear anything at Victoria's Secret anyway.
