Tony I think Ive cracked the case!
To make someone go to a new area, upstairs or downstairs, its a long grueling process but here is how you do it. You can set objects if you want but Id suggest you set your events first.
first scripting
Make a new script: Go Party/teleport/warp:::Set warp position
Example (Set the position upstairs, right on the stairs....remember this is your warp destination.(Leave all other shananigans alone,
After setting that script. Go to events. The last line asks what script to apply the event to(This is the most important line) Choose your script you just had made.
If you already put objects you want the box that says "Youch" on equal(This means the party has to just walk onto a transparent event to make them go upstairs....if you didnt already set your objects choose a model in this case (stairs, choose north south east or west and set event to touch. (This means the party has to touch the stairs to go up them.
Then go into event placement, place the event where they belong. Example: Stairs.
If you didnt choose a model for your event the event will remain transparent and your set it on the bottom of your stairs. If you did choose a model in this case stairs the event is no different then setting an object.
Finally go into world organization click on world or town to edit. It will ask you about background music stc. It will also ask your events. Place your new built set into the world and your all done. I believe the same will go for making members talk and do actions. Its all about the events.
