My weapons and clothing appear to have been stolen, and I am in an unknown location. I am...unable to focus, but I do not think I have been drugged...I will begin a search immediately, though I believe I have already discovered the most likely scenario.

Your possessions disapppearing... That's pretty much how it goes once you show up here. There isn't much they can't--and don't--take from us. It's just as disturbing as it sounds.

My wording was confusing, I apologize. Normally, I am able to think along up to seven trains of thought at one time. However, it seems that here I have been limited to one. So, it is not that I cannot think, it is that I cannot access my maximum capacity.

... That sounds like a useful skill. Or would you consider it more of an ability? Sorry if that's a weird question, but you'd be surprised at how relevant it might be.

Because if it really does feel as though you're being limited, that might be this place's doing, too.

No, it is a skill. I learned how to partition my thoughts through rigorous training and effort. I have always been able to use it at any time prior to my arrival here, so I suspect that it has been affected in some way.

In that case, it both does and doesn't make sense. I know they take possessions, clothing, weapons, and special abilities... But I didn't [want to] think they could take learned skills, too.

If it isn't working here, though, there's not much else it could be. It's not something you could forget how to do easily, right?

Then chances are pretty good you have this place to thank for your inconvenience. I'm not sure how, but that's the only thing that readily makes sense.

If it's any comfort, you very well might get it back before too long. Clothing, weapons, possessions, and special powers get returned from time to time, and if this place is responsible, it's possible you'll wake up to find it in the mail some day.
