[Sion can be found at the Factory, going about her assigned task: Making the uniforms 20% more efficient. Efficiency is pretty much her other middle name, and when coupled with the obvious ease of the task...it's a cakewalk for her. She's almost insulted, actually, when she sees the state of the uniforms ( Read more... )

Hey, you hungry? I gotta feed the workers.

[Taiga's holding a beautifully disgusting bowl of water and beets that's supposed to be a stew. She made it herself~]

Ah...thank you very much.

[Oh god it looks so terrible but Sion is going to take the bowl anyway.]

... I-I know it's not very good, you can just pretend to eat it...!

It would probably be best if I did not just pretend. If I am to complete my job on time I will need sufficient energy.

[She begins to eat the beet stew. It's pretty awful, but since Sion hasn't had anything to eat all day she's more than willing to force it down.]

Good luck with your job...

And you with yours, as well.

[A pause.]

If you do not mind, I would actually like your opinion on something. If you could improve the factory uniforms, how would you do so?

I'd get rid of them for what we used to have... But that's not gonna happen.

Mine's way too big. And have some color! They're disgustingly bland.

[Sion scribbles something down on her clipboard.]

I do not know if color would be viewed as necessary, but I will suggest it.

They won't change a thing, you know...

Regardless, I do not want to be droned over such a simple procedure.

Me neither... That's why I'm feeding people this slop.

Reply

It is not slop. The word "slop" refers to food for pigs, which usually consists of kitchen waste and water, though sour milk can also be used.

[Eww.]

Well, I sure wouldn't call this stuff stew.

That is correct. The consistency is not thick enough to be considered a stew.

I believe the term "boiled beets" would be satisfactory.

That's what I'll call it, then. Hopefully our "Great Leader" will appreciate the ingenuity in beet preparation~

If your assignment was simply to feed the workers, then I am sure he will have no problems with the method by which the food was prepared.
