I just spent an interesting evening with an Australian fellow named Dan. The three of us (Ivana, Dan and I) spent a while chatting, before we met up with some fellow Americans (undergrads at Kenyon, Princeton and who knows) before he sent us on our way with the other Americans (this lasted about 3 minutes before Ivana and I decided to catch a cab back home because they didn't seem to be doing anything). It seemed interesting how he was willing to put the group before himself on the hanging out once the other Americans left, even to the point of not giving us his email address so that we could send him pictures. I don't know. Maybe some people are just content to be peripheral characters in others' lives. Regardless, I'm not sober, so I'm just calling it a night.
All is going well in China. Will be back in Youngstown this weekend before heading back to move into my new apartment in Columbus.
