I am a christian woman, and have been since I was sixteen years old. I am not a conservative, however. My religion is not tied to a church, but to my relationship with God. I am glad that Osama Bin Laden is dead.

This man was my generations' Hitler. He was an incredibly evil man with no regard for human life. He had been proving this long before 9/11. I know that, growing up with my father in the military, taking a life can prey on you; and believe that the 3 wars my father participated in fueled his alcoholism as well. I do not believe that Bin Laden suffered this. The fact that he may have picked up a gun at the end shows me that he did not turn away from his evilness. The scriptures say that we should not rejoice in an evil man but pray that he can turn away. I am sorry, this was not possible with Bin Laden.

I am praying for our president who had the desire to find this man and gave the go order for this mission. Praying also for the men who carried out the mission. I am grateful for our president who knew that this was important. And irregardless of political belief; actually got this done.

I also know that the war on terror is far from over, and may get worse at times because of this. Be alert for many reasons. And look to the skies.
