I just received a christmas card from my niece Laurel, who is a psychiatrist in Houston. She gave a donation in my name to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. What a wonderful gift. What a wonderful woman she is.
Last night my two sons and my sweet Arcadia and Morgan brought dinner for my birthday. Patrick also embarrassed me in front of my coworkers by arriving at the cancer center earlier with flowers and the most obnoxious birthday balloon ever. (I love it). I guess I should not have started that tradition of embarrassing him on HIS birthday. Oh well. All in all my birthday yesterday was the best I have ever had.
