FanMix: The Rose and the Thorn :: If I'd known then, what I know now (Guinevere/Morgana)
Title: The Rose and the Thorn :: If I'd known then, what I know now (Guinevere/Morgana)
Summary: Pretty much Morgana was doomed from the start (by both family & fate), but what if she'd tried to cling to the good in her life (Gwen)... it would have got dark, twisty and awesome. I can imagine the two of them meeting in various moments over the course of their lives/time and the mood ranging from affectionate to heartbroken to angry to sad to hopeful to desperate, as they fight to be themselves ...AND all the versions of themselves that everyone else demands of them.
Notes: Warning, this Mix contains the obligatory Snow Patrol song (one we should all have by now), I couldn't not add it in - the the lyrics are gorgeous, but hopefully the rest of my choices don't feel like a repeat. If you only want to DL just a few I'd recommend 'Space + Time, The Pierces' (which was on GG recently), 'Both Sides are Even, The Boxer Rebellion', and 'The Future Starts Slow, The Kills' (my new fav song).

+ This is my first Fanmix...you can probably tell, right?
+ I included the first song because of the amazing Vid by luckybiatch on YT - Nikita: Revenge. (That song is one of the main songs that springs all the action sequences in my head now...)
+ I had a ridic fun time making the covers, I knew that I wanted rose petals for the back and was SO SO happy when I found some on Google Images (the lazy person's image bank), and for the lion crest on Morgana's cloak I kinda ripped it off an Arthur picture because Morgana never wears anything with logos on it ...but it works. She looks awesome, as does Gwen.
Personally, I like pictures that look like they have a story, and there's like a WHOLE story there - which had I enough time, I would write XD
+ A/G may be my OTP but I enjoy moonlighting in other Ships. IDK keeps it fresh, I guess. Plus an Arthur/Gwen/Morgana triangle would eclipse the often times weakly handled Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot triangle (which kinda coughed and died MANY episodes ago) EASILY... and damn it we're never going to see Gwen being tempted to the bad side are we? Coz that would be too awesome, Writers? Is that why?
