I'm still not convinced this is finished, there's just something off about it. But damned if I'm going to bother trying to fix it XD

Gwen needs to kick arse in ficting because its going to be a BLOODY AGE until Capps gives her a sword (1x10 and that swipe in 2x04 wasn't enough).

Cool details about the belt buckle!

Loved this line:

“Mind enlightening me on why you’d be attempting harm to the treasured companion of the King’s Ward?” he asks...

It rings true because it seems like they could sort of slip into regarding one another more highly than mere strangers purely based on the Morgana connection, and might not realize when exactly that regard starts to morph...

I had it just appear in my head . . . and then later I considered cutting it out. Glad I didn't :D

You weren't happy with this? YOU WEREN'T HAPPY WITH THIS?! BB, whatever for?! It was FANTASTIC! I just want to quote my favorite parts to you, but then I'd be quoting the entire scene! I do, however, have to quote this one passage:

“Oh I’m not-”

“She’s not-”

Gwen makes a wide gesture as if to wipe away the insinuation. “We’re just . . .”

“People who know each other,” Arthur supplies, not very smoothly and grimaces.”

I think that's the best take on "Oh, we're not dating" that I've seen (usually it's, "We're just friends," and the "We're just people who know each other" is much more amusing).

I wish we could see moments like this in the show. I think Arthur and Gwen would've had a FANTASTIC friendship, and while I love our ship it IS a shame that we'll never see that.

Pot this is Kettle . . . and IDK! it's just there is something OFF about it, something that doesn't sit right with me but I was so over it that I was like UGH it's DONE. Screw it. I'm glad other ppl seem to see something in it that I don't and I DO like that part you quoted :D . . . Arthur's not very smooth.

Ahhh, I'm absolutely of the belief that Arthur/Gwen could've been TOTAL BFFs when they were younger...though, possibly BEFORE Arthur hit puberty and became a giant prat. :P So this was just adorable and PERFECT.
Also: "We're just people who know each other" = BEST LAME EXCUSE EVER. :D :D :D
