Who: Sherlock and John.
When: John's a bit disturbed over the second Ripper murder and Sherlock's attitude towards it

Sherlock was, beyond a shadow of a doubt, absolutely elated.  Good cases were like cocaine, better than if he was honest.  Sherlock could close his eyes and breathe it in, the sweetness of it all.  He watched John pour his second glass from a bottle that had been left corked from some time in the back of the fridge with a label on it threatening Sherlock with the destruction of all of his experiments if he touched it and then returned to the sofa.

It was a typical after crime scene position.  One sleeve was rolled up to the elbow, one patch was place just below the crux of his arm.  His hands were folded.  Gladstone settled down.  And only John made any noise at all.

He could ignore it.

Until he heard the doctor pour his third glass.  Interesting.  Sherlock sat up.  "You've seen worse."

sherlock, john
