That's right! I watched the birth of a little colt!!
My friend and I were talking to night and she had mentioned that Betty Lou's (a friend of ours) horse Annie was going into labour to night and that she was watching it.
Betty Lou had set up a web cam in Annie's stall so she wouldn't miss this one.
When I opened the page it was of Annie pacing a circle and pawing at the saw dust. First signs.
Poor girl was so uncomfortable; she kept getting up and down.
I kept joking with Zoe, saying that she was going to have it in the corner where we couldn't see a thing.
She ended up having him right where we could -sort of- see him.
When she got down for her last contractions Betty Lou was driving like a mad woman trying to get there before it ended. Alas, she missed this one too, but we taped it for her.
