Icons: Stock Photography - Surfing (+ a wallpaper)

33 icons, theme: surfing. For her birthday (again, back in September!) the awesome pruehall requested surfing icons, particularly women surfing and/or Dylan Bruno surfing, to be used as inspiration for her Summer 2011 goal of learning how to surf. Since I only have one picture of Dylan on a surfboard (which is included in the icons, my dear), I went with

it was snowing for about 12 hours before any of the snow started to stick (during which time, I went to see Tron Legacy - good film)...since then, I haven't really looked outside; but a lot of churches and schools are either closing today and late tomorrow, or opening late both days.

(no point in looking outside - i live at hte bottom of a hill, so I can't walk anywhere if there's any hint of ice)

I want to go see Tron in 3D but... well, for the moment, no one is going anywhere. LOL.

We're with you on the ice situation. There's a solid inch of it coating our inclined driveway. If we could get to the road, we might be okay because it's relatively clear but we'd either wreck our cars driving out of the driveway or we'd bust our asses trying to get to the road because our walkways are also a sheet of ice. It's such a mess. A LOT melted today but it did so just in time for a refreeze once the sun set. It's a mess. Better to stay warm and safe. :)

which reminds me, I need to show my online presents now that I've gotten all but one. (not sure the last one will ever come, though - half of hte Sherlockmas sign-ups are AWOL)

normally I see movies in 2D first, to see if my stomach will let me see it in 3D...but 3D was the only one showing during the day (2D in evening)....

...its good and safe - no flying saws or blades or guts or anything.

We're definitely doing our best to keep our asses secure and unscathed. LOL. I may have to brave the outside tomorrow though just for some air. I can only stay inside so long before I go a little nutty.

And LOL about the flying saws and blades and guts. I actually wanted to see Saw 3D. I'm a weird, weird girl. I know. But I'm okay with that. :)

i find that, if I stay up at night, I don't get cabin fever the way I would if I was awake and indoors an equal amount of time during the day. just a thought.
