I'm back in the land of the semi-living once again. Mostly.
Apologies for the abrupt disappearance from LJ. Unfortunately school decided to take it out of me with a hacksaw and placebo Novocaine, so I've been living in the library for the last short while. I am back with the real world for the summer, and my Dad saw fit to get me internet access for

DB... you jerk, what the hell were you thinking? Forget about the fact that your wife is gorgeous, but you have a wife and children and was it worth it, David? Risking it all for a quick screw? I'm not sure how it could be. Idiot man.
I'm really sorry that it bothers you so much, but I can see why. Cheating is about the worst thing you can do in a relationship and it hits pretty close to home for you. I can only agree with you though -- if you marriage is in trouble, get help or end it; don't mess around. It solves nothing.
It galls me as well that the only time they fess up to their misdeeds is when the women threaten to go to the media. Hell, they don't even apologize
This part really burns my ass, although I suspect based on DB's appearance through the fall and winter (he was getting truly gaunt there for a while) that he came clean to her when those rumours about Rachel What's-Her-Head came out last fall. But I also noted that was he didn't apologize to her in the article. Now, to be fair, it's a snippet of a bigger article, so maybe it's there in the full piece, but he's exposing his wife and kids publicly to scrutiny and embarrassment and he damned well owes them a public apology. And a private one as well.
As far as watching the show goes, I don't think it will get in my way of that. That's Booth, and Booth would never pull this shit (at least the man I write wouldn't). But as far as DB goes, he's dropped a LONG way in my estimation.
And here's an interesting article that just popped up: http://www.hollywoodnews.com/2010/05/04/david-boreanazs-wife-could-sue-mistress-he-had-an-affair-with/ I wonder if Jaime's going to get some of her own back?
