Eagles won today against the cowboys...and boy was it close! but anyways, that means home field advantage for the playoffs! woot woot! Also, this is the first time they have beaten all the NFC East teams in a season. My boys rock.
Steve was supposed to come visit from jersey tomorrow but it fell through...biggest disapointment of my life. Definitly when we get back to VJC tho steve...thank God for ur intercession! = )
Christmas is in a week, and I lost my sister and brother's gifts, and I havent gotten my parents yet...but im supposed to on Thursday. Im such a space cadet.
My past two nights have pretty much been the same...hot tub, mixed drinks, movie and laughing my ass off. It's been fun. Thanks Lauren, John, Justin, Donnie, and Rob!
Also, yesterday, Lauren, John and I went down to DC to a shelter and donated a bunch of toys and newborn clothes with some of my sister's friends. It's the second largest shelter in the country. It's sad to see people with so little, especially over the holidays...but their faces lit up when they opened up their presents. That's what Christmas is all about.
Im going to make Christmas cookies with my mom tomorrow. to me, this is almost as exciting as Christmas morning! ...speaking of which, we are opening out presents christmas night because my mom wont be home from work until 8pm...nursing has many perks, but also downfalls...you can't close hospitals on the holidays. Maybe ill go in and visit the babies. = )
