Semester at a whole.
This semester has already flown by...and yes, kicked my ass the whole time. Spring break starts Friday...and will be spent in Myrtle Beach with the softball team at the Snowbird Tournament. 8 games in 4 days-with only two pitchers and me the only catcher. Well knees...it was nice knowing you! But i am really excited. I just have a feeling Im gonna need a spring break afterwards to recover! I guess thats what Easter break is for??
I got a job this summer...Labor and Delivery Nursing Tech. Which they usually only hire senior nursing students for-but yah, i guess im that good. Ill be at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring and I can't wait. I interned for 3 years there already and volunteered for a year, so I know my way around pretty well. This time I'll actually be able to deal one on one with patients and take part in the delivery process, whether it's vaginal or cesarean. Sorry to all you non-medical folk that im grossing out right now...im just really excited about it. Plus, because my mom works int he NICU (neonatal intensive care unit...basically really sick premature babies) Ill get to go down and do stuff in that unit as well. Things seem like they are sorta coming together-couldnt get much worse than last semester.
I got a car. Well, not really. I got the subaru and my parents got a car. But it's better than no car at all! SO!! I'm mobile...road trips anyone??
I got new catcher's gear. it's green and it makes me happy. $450 worth of gear better make a girl happy.
Because VJC's break is before the rest of the worlds (March 5-12) anyone is welcome to come up and visit during theirs! Softball games are always better when you have ur friends rootin you on!
Oh, and by the way. If sexy were an oreo, u'd be double stuffed.
