Got back yesterday evening from McCarthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park where we were camping, sleeping on the ground, eating food with elevated amounts of dirt in it, and generally getting dirty in many different fashions! YAY black snot! You campers out there know what I mean- don't try to pretend...
The whole trip was beautiful- epic in some cases, with lots of hiking and fishing, and laughing, much too much laughing. Jen and Mark were up with us Friday-Monday, and then it was Mom, Dad, Russ, and myself through yesterday. Oh- and three dogs of questionable intelligence, but unquestionable silliness and loyalty. Want to know an effective way to keep (blue)Jays from eating all of your dog's food? Two words- SUPER SOAKER... hee... All in all a wonderful time, with lots of physical activity, yay!
No I've only to survive 7 working days with Fedinko's before I have a couple of days off and start at NCJFCJ.
