What Gibran's trying to tell you is that it's foolhardy to think that you have control. There's way too many things going on that you know nothing about. But the point is that, if it's really love, and not just a momentary infatuation, it'll happen whether you wait or jump in. You don't have a say in the matter.

Another way of saying this might be, "True love cannot be found where it truly does not exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does."

Thanks for the advice. I'm surprised, I didn't think I would get this much. Anyways I guess my next step is to bring it up with her. The worst thing that could happen i guess is that she says no and we move on in life. It's not like a rejection will kill me, I should know I've had my share of them but not quite as many a Wraith I think. He is still the master and I but a student
