wine making n stuff
We bottled the watermelon wine tonight and, though we thought it would be horrible after the first 'rack', it actually seems quite palatible now that we've sweetened it generously- though not to our particular tastes. I think my sister (who loves sweet wines) would like it. She may get 15 bottles of wine for her birthday in May.
We wanted to bottle the peach tonight as well but it is still cloudy. I wish we knew what to do to clarify it. Unless I am miscounting, this was the fourth time racking it! It smells really good and we have high hopes but I'm getting frustrated with it.
I think for my late Christmas gift this year I am going to get a paid LJ acct. I want more icons (like a wine-making one!).
