For those who I did not already tell:
Remember that nasty boy who hacked all over my pencil??? Well, yesterday in econ he came and sat next to me as soon as we walked in, like we're friends or something. He talked to me like we were friends, while I meanwhile was still processing the mental image of my pencil in his mouth.
He was still coughing, but the more disgusting thing this time was the smell emanating from him. He just smelled of sickness... a mixture of stale tissues and cough drops, sort of how I imagine all of Europe smelled during the Black Plague. It was gross.
This caused me to reflect on the fact that my nose has been bombarded with more putrid smells in the past couple of months than in my entire life combined. College just smells. It seems everywhere I go, whether underneath my bathroom sink, by the music rooms in Bursley, or next to the chem building in the diag, something reeks. I'm sure it's the combination of alcohol, alcohol vomit, college students who don't bathe, garbage, smoke, etc., but usually it's not a smell that can be pinned on just any one of these factors... it's a deadly combination and it's gross.
