Well Cataract Surgery it is.
In 13 days I will be having cataract surgery. Its kinda soon but then If I wasn't then I would have to wait until December and I didn't want to mess with all the DR appts (of which I think there are 5 currently scheduled) during the holiday. Little freaked out. Not that its a big deal surgery sounds pretty simple.
As the surgeon explained, I have the "good kind of cataracts" easily fixed but I am one of the unlucky few who get it so young. At least someone considers 40 young. He also noted that my left eye is starting to show signs of getting one to and he predicts that that eye will be as bad as the right one within the next year to 18 months. Oh Joy. Good news, is that after its said and done, I should only need minimal corrective lens if any at all. Of course that is with going with the "upgraded" replacement lens. I am just waiting to find out how much insurace will cover.
