As he'd been doing basically nothing on the train lately (which was exactly what he wanted) all he was left to was his thoughts. Of course, that bought about the guilt. If he couldn't do a thing for his people, or even protect Aqune, he at least hoped to be competent in his skills, so when he was inevitably demoted once returning, he could work his ( Read more... )

[Pauses and nods his head, not wanting the distraction.]

What do you want?

There is a good reason you should.

Then tell me. Then we will see if your cause is worth my time.

If you assist me in the Valkyrie Express' demise, I will spare your life.

[Is a bit shocked to hear that someone is intelligent enough to share his desires of eliminating the train.]

Your threats do not concern me, as I doubt you're strong enough to defeat a member of the Big Four. However... you wish to destroy the cursed train?

Shouldn't the conductor be the greatest threat? She's responsible for all of this. It's obvious she's hiding many things.

Of course, you would need to be careful in collecting the items.

You must be very disliked by the others on the train. Many seem so carefree and content with their life here, they probably wouldn't think anything of items disappearing.

I am...disliked. Yes.

The co-conductor confiscated my staff, my sword, and my gun. They are likely inside either in his room or in the conductor's quarters.

If either of them are keeping your things, especially the conductor, retrieving them will be no easy task. However, I must escape and return home, whatever the cost.

What else?
