Thank you so much to Josie, who I believe added me to this community. I'm Dita von Teese and I've been a model now for roughly nine years. Not your average high fashion model, although to have a Vogue cover would be very nice. The covers I have been on are your more underground publications, but I'm proud of them nonetheless. I have an upcoming Playboy cover in December, I believe, but don't hold me to that, they tend to change things around a bit at the last minute.
One of my favorite experiences has been to pose for Olivia De Berardinis, who also painted Bettie Page. I've also been in a couple of music videos, most notably Green Day and Korn. I've had several guest spots on the E! network. So, I do tend to keep myself busy.
Lately, I've put together a burlesque show in the manner of Gypsy Rose Lee and have been touring around with a swing band. It's a bit different, but the crowds seem to like it. So, that's me in a nutshell, and I'm honored to be included in such a group of beautiful people. Thank you for making me feel welcome.
