Good morning!
Ahhh...the smells of Sunday mornings! Jim is cooking bacon and eggs, and there is a nice fire going in the fireplace in the living room. It makes it really cozy in here. We are going to put the tree up today! Woo Hoo. I love decorating! We are going to put the big one in the living room in the corner by the fireplace, and put the smaller one in the front room by the big window so you can see it from the road. It will look so nice. Jim even mentioned wanting to decorate today...can you believe it?
Geez, I went to Wal Mart to pick up one of the kids' layaways yesterday here in Wetumpka and it was nuts up there! I was going nuts! We bought Gilly one of those little kitchens and some leap frog animal magnets to go on the frig. She loves to be out here in the kitchen when I am cooking. We also had a V Smile and two games for it in that layaway for Garrett and some army action figures for Evan. I also bought a gift for Mel and two for my sister. It took me about an hour and a half to get those few items! There was a kid working layaway that never worked it before. Nice to put him there right at the holidays when he doesn't know how to work back there.
We went to a football party last evening at the Ezernack's house over at Gunter. They had a bunch of lawn chairs outside and tables with two tv's on them with the Tide and Iowa games on them, and a BUNCH of coolers with booze in it....a big woo hoo for that! Their chiminea was blazing to keep everyone warm too. It was a lot of fun. Gilly had fun playing with Emily, another one year old. They were getting into mischief!ha We came home at 9 and the kids passed out!!! They played hard!!!!
Well, I am off. I am going to catch some breakfast while it is hot and get some of the decorations out of the attic.
