So, let me tell you about my adventures in this room. My room is located on 1st deck of Chase Hall, right by the quarter deck. EVERYBODY comes here. It's like a nightmare. I come back from school one day only to find 10-20 people in my room, and none of them were under a lieutenant. There were a bunch of dignitaries visiting, people from the canadian navy and coast guard and some from our navy. Apparently, the secretary of the navy was in there, all I could see was all the bars on people's shoulders. Yet another time, the master chief of the navy came and visited my room, and I was the only one in there. Crazy.
Now, the other day, I was just chillin in my room after class, and the commadant of cadets, Captain Wisnewski, comes in my room with some important people we were drilling for. Yet again, I was the only one around. So they come in and the captain asks me a few random questions, you know, how am I doing, why'd you pick Coast Guard, such questions as those. They leave, and I think that I'm in the clear. No. The captain comes back to my room by himself, and he was "I don't mean to embarress you, but you really look horrible." Exact words. Apparently, my pants don't fit. I guess I'm a fat ass. He's sitting there telling me this (more or less, ie "You look like you've gained some weight") and he's like "Hey Commander, come here." SHIT. Commander Pulver, the assisstant commadant of cadets, took a look at me and said pretty much the same thing. Great. He then proceeds to tell my company senior chief about it, whom I have a Cadet Individual Development Plan meeting with right then actually, and he tells me the same thing. What a great day that was.
Anyways, just to let yall know, our football team, the Bears, is 1-6 right now. I just can't seem to find the right team.
Peace.
