80/20
Was thinking about the Pareto principle today and whether it applies to work.
Is 80% of the work done by 20% of employees?
Considering this, if there are 100 employees and 100 units of work to do, doesn't this mean that 20 employees are doing 80 units of work? Or really, 20 employees are working 4 times as hard than they "should" be?
Doesn't this mean that 80 employees are working at just 25% of their expected capacity?
Man that would suck.
