[ What kind of imbecile goes out in weather like this? ... That's a fine question to be asking yourself, Masamune - he's out in it himself, a heavier coat pulled tightly around his body. Oshu is not unknown for weather like this - Masamune is proud to be from the north, after all, but even today the snow is worse than usual.

But it holds a sense of beauty that he admits only to himself, watching it fall on the fields in a solid sheet of white. Surely someone will want to scold him for being out here, but Kojuro, Tsunamoto and Shigezane can shove it. Who is the lord here? Oh, that's right. It's not as if Masamune is going to catch his death of cold out here.

There is only one thing that disrupts the beauty of the weather, and that's the footsteps he can see through the thick snow, and the reason he's out here. What had driven Magoichi to go out here in the first place? ]

[ half of his name is carried away by the wind, but the dark spot that is the man isn't that difficult to see, contrasted against the blinding white. He won't escape Masamune that easily. ]

[Though the call is faint, Magoichi still catches his name carried on the wind. He stops his advance and turns around, squinting to try and see who had followed him. It isn't difficult to assume who it was - and even without that helmet of his, Magoichi knows. Who else would be gutsy enough to follow him out here?

Turning completely, he begins to step towards the smaller figure in the distance, taking his time in striding over before calling out -]

Shut up-- it's not nice at all!

[ With the wind whipping around like it is, it can hardly be called nice, can it? He's still shouting into the wind as he approaches, shielding his face from the snow with his hand. He's happy when he finally gets close enough - at least Magoichi being taller acts as a wind break. ]

What in the world drove you to come out here?

[Magoichi stretches out a bit, reaching up to brush some more snow from the top of his head.]

Started to feel restless cooped up inside all day - felt like stretching my legs. [Silly as coming out in this weather may have been, just like the dragon needs to spread his wings, sometimes the crow needs to take off from his perch.] Oshu's weather always like this?

It's rather cold to have your legs out in this, Magoichi.

[ Masamune crosses his arms - partially to look stern and partly to keep himself warm. Being cooped up all day... Sounds like Magoichi. It's also not as if there were that many ladies to try to hit on in the castle itself... ]

Just wait. You'll likely be here to see the worst of it.

[ taking a few more steps out into the snow, Masamune still can't help but look on it with some sense of pride, as odd as it is. ]

[Standing still, the cold starts to to settle in. Magoichi shakes his whole self out to try and get his body to warm up, resembling a ruffled crow for a moment as he does so, letting out a bit of a brr masked as a short grunt.

Beautiful though it is out here, once that cold start to hit, Magoichi was quickly regretting his decision to come outside.]

It gets worse? What next, [He lets out a short laugh, bringing his hands up to rub his arms a bit, trying to promote warmth.] Are you going to tell me all the ladies will migrate south and we'll be snowed in here?

[ Masamune does an aboutface in the snow, facing Magoichi once more. Why does have to always be so preoccupied with that? ]

Oshu has plenty of ladies, Magoichi, and they don't leave when the weather turns cold. Being snowed in is another matter!

[ sigh. Arguing with Magoichi about women is like talking to a wall. The fool doesn't even listen when it comes to that sort of thing. He turns again, stalking off into the snow. ]

Come with me, if you don't want to freeze to death.

[Not freezing to death sounded like a good thing. Obediently, Magoichi moves to follow his young lord (while inadvertently providing an excellent shield to the wind for the smaller male) back towards the castle.]

I can handle being snowed in- [maybe] So long as there's something good for me to look at. [Aside from himself.]

[ it's rather impressive that Magoichi keeps insulting him, however unintentionally? ]

Do you mean to say that I'm not good to look at, Magoichi?!

[ it's half shouted into the wind, just to make damn sure Magoichi hears it. ]

Keep your eyes on me! I'm the best thing you'll ever see - I am the best thing that Japan will ever see, too!

Magoichi hears it, letting out a sigh that gets lost on the wind.]

[As Masamune stops, so does the sniper. At the younger man's comment, however, Magoichi can't help but laugh.]

[ he'd missed the point entirely, or intentionally, or. whatever. Masamune glances over his shoulder before stalking off again. ]

[He stops laughing but a bit of a smirk still remains on Magoichi's face, following his young lord and trudging through the snow that's piling up.]

[ Masamune stays relatively quiet as he continues back to the main house, stewing in his own anger and pissed-off-ness. How can Magoichi laugh at him like that, that's unfair. Once the house is in sight, he finally slows down a bit, and calls back to the man over his shoulder. ]

You don't have time for women if you're busy watching me soar over Japan, Magoichi.

[Magoichi is lingering close to his young lord. As they reach the house, Magoichi once again brushes the snow off his shoulders as Masamune turns to call back at him. His retort is swift-]

There is always time for the ladies, Masamune. Always... But you're right. Watching you spread your wings and soar is my top priority. I pledged myself to you and your dreams, I'm not giving up on you so easily.
