Do you ever get bored of (board) gaming?
I get bored with different games, but the idea in general seems to continue with its appeal. We do buy a game or two each year, so we keep things fresh that way. Some games we play heaps because they permit two players, other games we only get to play rarely because they require 3+, so those ones stay fresh and interesting that way. And I guess I get bored once the strategy gets too obvious. Maybe the fun is in figuring it out. I get bored if I lose too often, or if I win too often then I can tell it's no fun for the others.
It's really only something we do sporadically or occasionally. Even in a heavy-week we might only play games three times. Or go months without.
So...yes and no. Depending on the game.
