Bah, forgot to blog last night til just before midnight (in bed, with the PC off). Oh well. No win for me.
Pretty tired - not used to the 2 hrs + on the bike each day, and not used to 'full time work' at the moment either.
Got to start a literature search yesterday, although I saved the info in a different format to the 'standard'. It's kind of tricky when 'standard' is 'what three people do' - it's not documented for the most part.
Reminded just how complicated it must be running a library with less than two staff that serves 5 campuses... talking about training classes late yesterday, and how to design them and run them so that people turn up and learn. So many decisions that need to be made... I guess you just figure it out as you go. A lot of it is stuff that I think "Oh yeah, they taught us that" though, so at least a fair bit of the course has turned out to be relevant to this environment.
