Wow...going vegan immediately would be far too difficult to do in one go. It was hard enough just going vegetarian to start with. But now that I've been veg for awhile, I dont think it would be that much harder to go vegan if I wanted to.

If you want to head in that direction, cut out one thing at a time. Dairy or meat, or processed foods even. I'd go with the processed foods first. Or dairy. Unless you want to go veg :P But do one at a time if you're going to follow his instructions. I agree withvassilissa that going vegan isn't a miracle cure. I reckon a lot of ailments are from our society's diet, but not everything. But it also doesnt hurt to try cutting things out and seeing what happens. For example, my wheat intolerance is almost non-existent since I've been veg. Unexpected benefit. Going veg or vegan though is a life choice. One you've got to stick with if you're using it for the health benefits. So be certain before you make the decision. But there is nothing wrong with deciding to go halfway and try it out :)

If you do decide to change to soy milk, go one like Vitasoy, that uses whole soy beans, rather than a soy protein. Far better for you.
