YESSSSSSSS, the Health Care Reform bill passed~~♥ So exciting! I even watched the debate/voting on C-span, although reading ONTD_P with it made it much more entertaining. ^^; The bill's not perfect, but it is a damn good start, and I'm so glad it passed. I can't wait to see how it will improve millions of people's lives. (and if it'll lower my family's premiums, omg)
My recent tales pretty much center around fighting a cold/flu on and off for the past few months. (so super exciting, I know.) The fatigue is what bugs me the most though -- I can't seem to sit at the computer for more than 10 minutes without developing a giant headache, so I've fallen a bit behind on online things. It's also taken a toll on digital drawing practice (and a fanart request that I just can't seem to finish), but at least my sketchbook is getting attention again. (my digital scribbles still look better though)
I also got Pokemon SoulSilver last week, and am leveling up for the Cianwood City gym badge. I am enjoying the game, but it doesn't quite have the same magic that the old Silver game had. But maybe that's just a change of perspective due to age. The graphics are really nice though, and I love the new features (like the Pokewalker and the Pokemon following you♥) and how much of the old features are still there. I seem to walk around the Johto map every day to collect all of the apricorns, and I like the little details like the title graphics for certain areas changing depending on the time of day. My favorites are probably for Ilex Forest and the National Park.
My team currently includes Cyndaquil, Haunter, Stantler, Slowpoke, Ledyba, Wobbuffet, Togetic, Geodude, Poliwag, Sunkern, Umbreon, HootHoot, and some others I can't remember. Needless to say, I don't really have a set team. I also really want to keep most of them unevolved, which... really doesn't help things. ^^; Ah well.
This is where I say something else, but my mind is drawing a blank, so I guess that's it. (such a classy conclusion)
