One of the things I was working on during my posting absence was the linework for my A Desolate Sea sketch. I wasn't liking how it looked with colors or brushes/textures, so I thought I would try keep it similar to the sketch and just draw lots of lines. Hatching? I'm not sure what it's called.

I like it! The water and clouds (and the monotone colors) give a dream-like feeling, like a scene from Link's Awakening.

Ah yeah, I see what you mean about the Link's Awakening feeling. That's great, yay. ^^ I really outta finish my replay of it, it's such a great game.

Welcome! Not sure if you heard, but Link's Awakening will be released on the 3DS version of DSiware. Not sure if they'll be adding stuff, though.

Seriously? Aah, that's awesome! If it's just a port of the game, I hope its the DX version; those little Link photos throughout the game were so cute.
